The Office | A collaboration led by a team of architects and researchers, working in the fields of architecture, research, and society.
Who we are
Founded in 2020 as a visual documentation project for Palestinian urban heritage. In August 2022, the project was launched with its new version under the name of The Office to expand the fields of work, and offer more services. The office's team includes specialists in the field of architecture, documentation, and visual production.
What we do
Our work is based on three main fields, Architecture, Research, and Society- A.R.S.
+ In the field of Architecture, we provide design and planning services, documentation and restoration, training, and consulting.
+ We work in research within, architecture and design research, cities, and urban planning.
+ We also work within the community to provide workshops, training, grants, and partnerships with individuals and civil society organizations.
Our work also includes investigating Palestinian collective architecture and urban practices in public spaces, using various research, documentation, and modelling tools.
Our Goals
We aim to strike a balance between contemporary architectural work and documenting the displacement of our urban heritage, by relying on individual and collective local resources and building community partnerships with interested individuals and institutions.
